Spellbinders January 2022 Clubs Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hi everyone, I’m Karen Yagel … welcome to my Blog! I’m super excited to be a part of the Spellbinders January 2022 Clubs Blog Hop. Spellbinders is celebrating all the Club Kits in the shop for January 2022 with a fun & inspirational Blog Hop & Giveaway.

For today’s hop, I am showcasing the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month which is called “Truly, Madly, Deeply” and that pretty much sums up my feelings for this kit … i love, love, love it! I am having so much fun creating cards with all of the awesome goodies included in this month’s card kit. The project that I am sharing today, is a slim line card that features some fun dimensional hearts.

I love all of the colorful hearts included in the kit and the sentiment inspired the design for this card … Beautiful Hearts Belong Together. I thought that all of the hearts included in the kit just needed to belong together on this card … lol.

I decided that a slimline card would be best for this card as I wanted a tall vertical card design. The card base has layers of patterned papers …. pink hearts on the bottom and a gold foiled polka dot on top. The pretty gold foil border strip was created from strips of gold mirror card that surrounds another fun die cut from the kit … the Rainbow colored “xoxo’s”.

I created the dimensional heart clusters by combining 3 hearts in different sizes and colors and attaching them together using the Fun Stamper’s Journey Tiny Stapler with some tiny gold staples. I also fussy cut some extra hearts using the heart die cuts as a template so that I would have more hearts with more patterns and colors to make the hearts appear to be exploding from the sentiment. To finish off this card and add just a bit more sparkle, I added some tiny clear gems.

I hope that you like the card that I created for this blog hop! Be sure to check back on my blog tomorrow for even more inspiration using the Truly, Madly, Deeply Card Kit.
