Cards Created with the Spellbinders June 2023 Embossing Folder

Thanks so much for stopping by to see the card project that I created with the new “Splish Splash” Embossing Folder from Spellbinders June 2023 Clubs. This embossing folder is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ so it’s perfect for creating larger cards like a 5″x7″ card. I love the added dimension and texture that using an embossing folder brings to a card.

For my first card, I created a 5″ x 7″ card base created from white cardstock. I then embossed the design using lavender cardstock. I created a second card panel with a floral pattern paper from the Spellbinders June card kit and matted it with white cardstock. The die cuts and chipboard frames that were used on this card are from the Spellbinders “A Little Hello” June 2023 card kit.

To embellish this card, I used two of the chipboard frames that I backed with a light green pattern paper. I added postage stamp dies to each of the frames to make them look like little framed pictures. Next, I added a bird and two butterflies plus a chipboard sentiment “Love to Smile”. To finish off this card, I added Honey Bee Stamps tiny clear gems to the butterflies and the centers of the flowers.

The second card is an A2 size card (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″). I embossed pink card stock and used that as the base of the card. Next, I added a pretty plaid pattern paper. I love the soft colors of this card. This card was embellished with dies from the Spellbinders June Card Kit. I used a puffy sticker (also from the card kit) for the sentiment. To add a bit of sparkle, I added tiny clear gem stickers from Honey Bee Stamps to the center of each butterfly.

I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the new Spellbinder’s Embossing Folder to create fun cards with a lot of added texture. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me again in July for more cards created with the awesome club kits from Spellbinders.
