“Have a Springy Day” Spellbinders Card Kit March 2022
Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Have a Springy Day” Card Kit from Spellbinders March 2022 Club. In this post, I am sharing three cards that I created using this card kit. The Spellbinders Card Kits are amazing and come with so many fun supplies including paper, carstock, embellisihments, stamps and dies! If you would like to see the contents of the kit, get some ideas on organizing your kits and see me create my first card using this kit, click here to go to the YouTube Video.
All of these cards were created using the supplies from the March Card Kit (shown below) with the addition of a few washi tapes from my stash and a few sequins from the Spellbinders February Card Kit.
For this first card, I was inspired by the Clouds & Suns patterned papers from the 6×6 paper pad and I thought it would make a really cute sky background for my card. I layered the Cloud & Sun paper on top of a bright yellow paper and then added a darker blue paper on the bottom of the card to create the ground. I added a bright yellow washi tape from my stash where the papers were joined on my backround and it added a pretty border between the sky and ground.
Next, I added some foam tape to the bycycle, sun and cloud and added those to the card. For my title, I used a “Smile” sentiment from the Chipboard. To finish this card, I added a tiny bee and then scattered some of the pale yellow sequins across the sky and above the sentiment. If you would like to see the process for how I created this card, click here to view the video on YouTube.
This next card is another size A2 card which features a Hanging Planter …. how stinkin’ cute is this??? I was inspired by patterned paper with the plants and so I created a background with a that paper and a scrap of the dark blue paper that I used for my first card. I added some pink washi tape from my stash … this washi had pink foil and it added a a little sparkle to my card. I popped up the planter with some foam tape and added it along with two butterflies to the card. The “Grateful for you” chipboard pieces made the perfect sentiment for this card.
For my third card, I wanted to create a garden scene using the fence dies, one of the watering cans and some flowers. I started with a watering can patterned paper and then addded a white cardstock panel on top. Next, I created a flower garden across the bottom of the card using the fence (with the pink sun hat) and some flowers.
Next, I added the water can to the top and some sequins (from the February Spellbinders Card kit) so that it appeared to be watering the flowers. The bright yellow sun and a chipboard butterfly was added to finish the garden scene. The foam glitter “Bloom & Grow” stickers was just the perfect sentiment for this card.
I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the Spellbinders March 2022 Card Kit to create some super cute spring cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me in April for more cards created with the awesome card kits from Spellbinders.
