3 Cards Created with the “Stitched Glimmer Butterflies” from Spellbinders May 2022 Glimmers Club
Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Stitched Glimmer Butterflies” Glimmers from Spellbinders March 2022 Clubs. In this post, I am sharing a card that I created using the rose glimmers. These glimmer plates are special because the glimmers is all around the edge of the roses and leaves when you cut them out using the coordinating dies. It’s super pretty with the glimmer along the edges.
For my first card, I decided to use the smaller butterfly. I cut the butterfly from gold mirror cardstock and the inside of the wings from a green leaf patterned paper that had gold foiling. The patterned papers that I used for all of these cards are from the Spellbinders Koala Smiles May 2022 Card Kit.
I added a green and white checked patterned paper to a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ card base. Then, I used the embossing folder from the Spellbinders Garden Path Embossing Folder and embossed onto white cardstock. I cut a frame from the embossed panel, then backed the inside piece of the frame with gold mirror card and popped it up with some foam tape.
I used the “You give me butterflies” glimmers with gold foil and some white card stock to create the sentiment. Then, traced the top embossed panel with gold glitter stickles.
For my second card, I used the larger butterfly. I cut the butterfly from gold mirror cardstock and the inside of the wings from a green leaf patterned paper that had gold foiling.
I layered a lavender paper on top of a eucalyptus patterned paper and added the card panel to a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ card base. I then layered another card panel cut from white card stock on top.
I used the “Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful” chipboard piece from the Spellbinders May Card Kit for my sentiment. To add some sparkle to this card, I added some lavender sequins to the butterfly.
For my third card, I used the larger butterfly. I cut the butterfly from white cardstock and the inside of the wings I added gold foiling using the glimmer plates included in the kit. I popped up the inside of the wings with some foam tape and added them to the butterfly. The glimmers are just gorgeous.
I added a floral patterned paper to a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ card base. I then added a pretty oval that I cut using the Spellbinders Picot Petite Ovals.
I used a “hello” gold foil sticker from the Spellbinders May Card Kit for my sentiment. To add some sparkle to this card, I added some pink sequins.
I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the Spellbinders “Stitched Glimmer Butterflies” Glimmers to create gorgeous butterfly cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me in June for more cards created with the awesome club kits from Spellbinders.
