“Under the Sea Magic” Spellbinders Card Kit July 2022
Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Under the Sea Magic” Card Kit from Spellbinders July 2022 Club. In this post, I am sharing 5 cards that I created using the July card kit. The Spellbinders Card Kits are amazing and come with so many fun supplies including paper, carstock, embellisihments, stamps and dies! And this month’s kit is just magical!
All of these cards were created using the supplies from the July Card Kit (shown below) with the addition of some sequins from previous month’s card kits.
I love all of the gorgeous colors in this kits … the aquas, pinks, purples and greens are truly magical. The paper designs in the 6×6 paper pad are absolutely stunning and it was so quick and easy to create some beautiful, magical cards that let the papers shine.
For my first card, I used the “Color Block Slices” die set from Spellbinders to create some wedge shapes using 3 of the patterned papers. I added these to the front of the card and trimmed off the excess.
Next, I added one of the circle dies from included in the die pack to cover where the triangles meet up and also an awesome place to put my sentiment. I popped up a unicorn and some flowers using foam tape and added those to the card front. To add just a bit of sparkle to this card, I scattered some sequins across the card. Truly magical.
For my second card, I used one of the patterned papers with a goregous mermaid as the main card panel and I layered that on top of a green patterned paper. For the sentiment, I used one of the dies and then matted it with some light pink card stock. I wanted to keep this card simple, to let the gorgeous patterned paper be the star and I finished off this card with 3 of the jeweled embellishments that were also included in the card kit.
For my third magical card, I started with a fun polka dot patterned paper that had some gold foil dots. I layered a strip of green patterned paper onto some gold mirror card and then added that to the front of the card. I popped up the circle with the fairy and added that to the green strip. A magical sentiment, some gold stars ad a few gold sequins finish off this card.
This next card was also inspired by one of the beautiful patterned papers … this time a unicorn. I matted the unicorn paper with a paper that looked like marble and I think it adds such a beautiful effect to the card. I choose to use a large die as my sentiment and I popped it up with some foam tape. I added 3 chipboard stars and to finish off the card and add a bit of sparkle, I added some fun sequins.
For my last card, I was inspired by all of the sea creatures, the mermaids and decided to create an “under the sea” card. I added some foam tape to the mermaid, the sentiment and several of the star fish to give some added dimension to the card. I layered the dies to create an underwater scene and then scattered some sequins across the card to add some sparkle. Just magical!
I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the Spellbinders July 2022 Card Kit to create some amazing, magical cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me in August for more cards created with the awesome card kits from Spellbinders.
