Spellbinders Card Kit February 2022
Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Always Remember” Card Kit from Spellbinders. In this post, I am sharing three cards that I created using this card kit. The Spellbinders Card Kits are amazing and come with so many fun supplies including paper, carstock, embellisihments, stamps and dies! If you would like to see the contents of the kit and see some ideas on organizing your kits, click here to go to the YouTube Video.
All of these cards were created using the supplies from the February Card Kit (shown below) with the addition of a few tiny gems from Honey Bee Stamps.
For this first card, I was inspired by the wreath die that was included in the kit. I layered a patterned paper with gold words on white over a pretty pink paper. I created a wreath with gold mirror card using the die and then added some floral die cuts and a butterfly … so pretty! I added a sentiment die cut “It’s your day” and some tiny clear gems to finish off this card.
This next card is another size A2 card which features a Rainy Day scene. I was inspired by patterned paper with the colorful raindrops and gold foiling. I wanted to make this card appear as if it was raining and I layered the clouds and popped them up using foam tape. I added the raindrop paper to one side and a soft blue paper to the other side and I thought that it really suited the rainy day mood. The “Always Remember” die cut was the perfect sentiment to add to this card. To add even more drama to the sky, I added some sparkly sequins falling from the sky along with the rain drops.
For my third card, I choose a floral patterned paper and a green tone on tone floral paper for the base of the card. The sentiment “just saying hello” was die cut from gold mirror card using the word dies that were included in the kit. The pink chipboard frame with gold accents, backed with some gold & white patterned paper creates the perfect focal point to showcase the sentiment. I fussy cut around two of the bird die cuts to remove some of the white border and then popped them up with some foam tape. A few of the gold leaf die cuts and some tiny clear gems add just a touch more sparkle to this soft & pretty floral card.
I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the Spellbinders February 2022 Card Kit to create some pretty floral all occasion cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me in March for more cards created with the awesome card kits from Spellbinders.
