Cards created with Spellbinders Old School Notes Stamp & Die Kit Club for February 2022

I created these two cards using the new “Old School Notes” Stamp & Die set from Spellbinders. This stamp & die set is just adorable and I love how the little die set comes with a typewriter plus a coordinating die to create the paper that you can insert into the typewriter. The sentiments included in the die set fit perfectly on that little piece of paper. It’s just super cute!!! I had a lot of fun creating with these stamps and dies and I think this one is going to become a favorite in my craft room for creating quick cards for all occassions.

The papers that I used for these cards come from the Spellbinders February Card Kit 6×6 Paper Pad and also the Recollections Pink Champagne 12×12 Paper pad … I loved the pinks and greens and thought that these papers coordinated well with the embellishments from the February Spellbinders Card Kit.

For this first card, I was inspired by the border strip paper from the Pink Champagne 12×12 paper pad and I layered strips from this paper across the bottom of the card. The pink paper at the top of the card also comes from the same Recollections paper pad.

I stamped out the typewriter using some Memento Black ink and then colored it with copic markers in burgandy and grays.

I then stamped out one of the sentiments and then used the coordinating small rectangle from the die set to create the paper that tucks into the typwriter. I added a few die cuts from the Spellbinders February Card kit including a cute envelope, florals and gold flowers. The typewriter, the envelope and some of the florals are also popped up with some foam tape. To finish off this card and to add a little sparkle, I added some of the clear sequins also from the card kit.

This next card is another size A2 card which features the typewriter as well as the flowers from the Stamp and Die set. The pink tone on tone patterned paper is from the Recollections Pink Champagne 12×12 Paper Pad and the grey and white striped paper is from the Spellbinders February Card Kit.

I stamped the typewriter and some of the flowers as well as the sentiment with some Memento Black ink and then colored in the typewriter and flowers using copic markers.

I popped up the typewriter and the flowers with some foam tape to add some dimension to this card. I love the sentiment in the typewriter but thought it would be cute to add one of the chipboard pieces (from the February card kit) under the typewriter. Type typewriter die and stamp is just adorable and makes the cutest cards.
