Sparkle & Shine Day 2 (Foiling)

I watched the videos and the techniques from the Sparkle & Shine online class and Day 2 is all about foiling.  This was definitely more my speed than the Day 1 Glitter.  I love the shine of the foil and all the different colors.  It’s not messy like the glitter and I think makes a more elegant card.
I made both cards and tags.   For the tags, I used a glue pad and stamps and then added various colors of foils.


I had some issues with either my foil or my laminator or both and the foiling was a little spotty on my first two cards.  I cheated on Cards 3 and 4 and used some water color prints from a DCWV Paint & Create paper stack that I picked up at Tuesday Morning.  So glad that I bought the two DCWV water color pads (Heart of Gold and Floral) for only $4.99 each.  The Floral pad had copper foiling which is gorgeous.
