Scrap Our Stash | November “Pick Your Side” Sketch Challenge | Miss Bella “B”
This double layout was created for the Scrap Our Stash November “Pick Your Side” Sketch Challenge. If you are interested in participating in this month’s “Pick Your Side” sketch challenge head on over to the Scrap Our Stash Blog.
For this challenge, create a one or two page layout inspired by the sketch and also be sure to include a scallop embellishment. The sketch for this challenge is shown below.
I decided to do both the right and left sides and create a double layout because I had so many cute pictures of my dog Bella giving doggie kisses to me and my sister, Terri. I loved both sides and thought that these sketches would be perfect for this series of pictures.
For this layout, I decided to use some paper from the October Afternoon Daily Flash Girl Talk collection. I also used stickers from the Simple Stories “Life is Ruff” collection. The background is a yellow check. The scallop borders were made using the EK Success “Embroidery” border punch. The title “Miss Bella B” comes from a pack of DIY thickers. The thickers are customizable and I used some white flocking powder to make white letters that appeared to be felt.
I added some banners and a tag to the top right side. I added some twine to the tag. A wood veneer dog house and bone, plus some enamel dots in yellow, red and white finish off this layout. Here are some close ups.
Here’s a full picture of my layout.
