"Scrap-A-Thon 3" Day 8 – Circles Scrapbook Layout

It’s Day 8 of the Scrap-A-Thon 3 with Nicole Jones 911 and the technique for this day of the Scrap-A-Thon was using circles. I had a baggie of solid brown circles and patterned paper circles that I received as a freebie from someone a long, long time ago.
One of my goals for this month is to use some older items from my craft room. WOW … just remembering when I got these in the mail and I think these circles have been floating around my craft room for about 7 or 8 years.
There were also some brown circles that were slightly larger than the ones with the patterned paper in the baggie. I layered the patterned circles on top of the brown circles and then randomly glued them to the background. Next, I popped up some of the circles on some foam dots and then added some epoxy circles to some others.
Annamarie and I have been good friends for many years and the title of this page is “Good Friends”. I used the Marquee Thickers to spell out GOOD and a Maggie Holmes “friends” gold word sticker for the rest of the title.
The background paper is from My Minds Eye and the patterned paper used in the circles is from Stampin’ Up. This page is embellished with a “project life” card and a die cut from the Simple Stories Domestic Bliss collection and also a fun paper clip from Paige Evans. A wood veneer flower and heart, gold enamel dots, and a gold heart add some fun accents.

The picture used in this layout is one from 2002 and it’s a picture of me and my friend Annamarie. We often would meet up at bookstores and from the picture it appears that we were perusing some cookbooks.

WooHoo!!! Another layout done. Eight layouts done in sixteen days and only 15 Days to go!!!!
