"Scrap-A-Thon 3" Day 5 – Using Paints Scrapbook Layout

It’s Day 5 of the Scrap-A-Thon 3 with Nicole Jones 911 and the technique was using paints which was another new technique for me.  I used some acrylic paints in aqua and lavender and a brayer on some white cardstock and then added some gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine.  This created a really pretty background layer for my photo.
The photo I used in this layout was one I took the day I picked up my dogs from the Groomer.  I have two yorkies (LilyBelle and Bella) and they had been at Mary’s Bed & Biscuit boarding over the Thanksgiving Holiday in 2018.   They had their hair-cut on the last day that they were boarding and they were so excited to be going home.  I just love LilyBelle’s smile in this photo.

The Camera and hearts came from a Maggie Holmes 12×12 Chipboard stickers.   I used the “Happy” word from the “Good Things” Thickers and usedthe Pink Rockaby Glitter chipboard Thickers to spell out “ONE” and “DOG”.

It’s always a good day scrapbooking when I get to do a layout of one of my beautiful girls.
