Fun Popsicle Cards created using the Spellbinders July 2022 Club Kits

Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Add a Stripe of Color” Glimmers and the “Have a Chill Summer” Stamp & Die Kits from Spellbinders July 2022 Clubs. In this post, I am sharing two cards that I created using the new club kits.

For my first card, I started with a rainbow patterned paper from Vicki Boutin and a yellow cardstock and created several panels that I layered on to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base. I used the glimmer plate with some holographic silver foi to create a fun striped pattern on purple cardstock. Next, I stamped out the popsicle using versamark ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I wanted the popsicle to look shiny and I love how the embossing created such a fun look. I also stamped out the popsicle stick. I used the dies to cut out the popsicle, the popsicle stick and also some dots using gold mirror cardstock. I decorated the popsicle with the gold foil polka dots. I stamped the sentiment using Memento black ink to create the sentiment.

For my second card, I used a green tone on tone chevron cardstock and then added a white cardstock panel on top. I used the popsicle stamp and some versamark ink and clear embossing powder to create two popsicle that would have a fun shine like a real popsicle. I also used the stamp and dies to create strawberries and lemons and I used the fruit to decorate the popsicles. I used one of the sentiment stamps and Memento black ink to create the fun “Anything is Popsicle” sentiment. How cute are these popsicles???
