Cards Created with Spellbinders “Spring Delight” Card Kit for February 2023
Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Spring Delight” Quick & Easy Card Kit from Spellbinders February 2023 Club. In this post, I am sharing 3 cards that I created using the new February card kit. I love creating with the Spellbinders card kits in the past and I’m loving the new kits. The Cardmaking Kit of the Month Club is NOW the the Quick & Easy Card Kit of the Month Club. Spellbinders has adjusted the contents down and reduced the price so that the kits no longer require a die cutting machine. This month’s “Spring Delight” Quick & Easy Card Kit includes a 6×6 paper pad, die cut shapes, tons of embellishments, card bases, and more! The new kits no longer include dies and stamps however, there are coordinating dies and stamps available that can be purchased separately.
The die cuts included in this kit were easy to use to create fun card scenes and the the bunnies included are super cute.
For my first card, I wanted to use one of the bunnies. I decided on two of the patterned papers for the card base and layered one on top of the other at an angle. The pink paper is adorable with bunnies peaking out of cups. I used a flower basket and the cute jumping bunny to create a fun scene on the front of the card. Next, I layered small flower dies and butterflies adding some foam tape to some of the flowers and butterflies to give extra dimension. For the sentiment, I choose a yellow sticker that says “A whole lot of HAPPY” from the stickers included in the kit. To add a bit of sparkle to this spring card, I added Honey Bee Stamps tiny clear gems to some of the flowers and to each butterfly.
For my second card, the inspriation was a large circle die with lemons. For the card base, I choose a black & white scallop patterned paper and a paper with lemons. Next, I layered flowers and several more circle embellishments over the large circle die. For the sentiment, I decided to use the “Be Happy” yellow circle chipboard. A few of the Honey Bee Stamp tiny clear gems added to the center of the flowers and to the cake stand finish off this super cute, lemon floral card.
For my third and last card, I wanted to create a scene with the chair die … I thought it was really cute and would be the perfect starting element for a card. I layered a pink gingham paper on top of a floral paper and then added a white cardstock to the top. In addition to the rocking chair, I added a floral bouquet and a notebook. To give some dimension and to add more to the scene, I added 3 of the tiny flower dies and a tiny butterfly. For my sentiment, I used a chipboard piece that said “celebrate today”. A few of the tiny gems added just a bit of sparkle to this fun card!
I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the Spellbinders February 2023 Card Kit to create some fun plant inspired cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me next year in March for more cards created with the awesome card kits from Spellbinders.
