Cards created with Spellbinders “One Love, One Heart” Stamp & Die Kit Club for January 2022
These two cards were created using the “One Love, One Heart” Stamp & Die set from Spellbinders January 2022 Kit Club. This stamp & die set is perfect for Valentine’s cards and I am just obssessed with the floral heart stamps.
For my first card I wanted to create a flower using one of the floral heart stamps. This was an idea that was inspired by my friend Joanne Bartell and I think it turned out really pretty.
I stamped out a bunch of hearts and then colored the hearts with some copic markers.
After I finished coloring in the hearts, I folded each heart in half and used a piece of foam tape to hold it together and to also add some dimension. I added adhesive to a 2″ piece of scrap cardstock and then stuck the 6 folded hearts onto the cardstock in a circle. I wanted to add a little more gold to my flower and I cut out 3 more hearts from the gold mirror card (included in the Spellbinders January Card Kit) and then cut the hearts in half and layered them behind the larger flower.
For the card base, I layered a piece of pink and gold foiled patterned paper from the Recollections Pink Champagne 12×12 Paper Pad to a 5″x5″ card base.
I added the flower made from hearts to the center of my card. I then used the “Happy Valentine’s Day” glimmer from the Spellbinders January Glimmers Kit to create the sentiment and then used the banner die included with the “One Love, One Heart” die set to cut out the sentiments.
I decided to create a second card using the left over hearts from my first card.
I layered a pink tone on tone patterned paper from the Recollections Pink Champagne 12×12 Paper Pad onto an A2 size card. I then used the largest of the dies from the Fluted Classics Slimline Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken and created a panel. Because the dies were too long for my card, I die cut only half of the die and then I repositioned the die to create the size I needed and ran it partially through my die cut machine from the opposite side.
After I had my card panels created, I added two of the folded hearts and glued them next to each other on the card front. I die cut the leafs, stem and tiny flowers using the dies from the January Glimmers Kit of the month. to finish off this card, I added a gold glitter Love foam sticker and one of the tiny glitter foam tags both from the January Card Kit of the Month. To add a little more sparkle to this card, I added some tiny white crystals from Buttons Galore.
I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the Spellbinders January 2022 Stamp & Die Kit to create some beautiful Valentine cards for your sweetie. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me in next time for more cards created with the awesome kits from Spellbinders.
