Cards created with the Spellbinders “Anytime Glimmer Sentiments” Glimmers Kit for February 2022

These two cards were created using the “Anytime Glimmer Sentiments” Glimmers kit from Spellbinders February 2022 Kit Clubs. I love the size and the fonts used in these glimmers and it’s so much fun to add a touch of glam to your card.

This first card was inspired by a cut-a-part from the Recollections Pink Champagne 12×12 paper pad.

I fussy cut out the oval frame so that I could use it as the focal point and to hold the sentiment. I needed to cover up the middle of the cut-a-part oval so that I could add the sentiment, so I decided to use a pink paper (also from the Pink Champagne paper pad) and I used the “A NOTE TO MAKE YOU SMILE” glimmer plate and some gold foil. I glued one of the frames from the Spellbinders February Card kit over the foiled sentiment and then layered it onto of the oval frame.

I layered the oval framed sentiment on top of a really gorgeous floral pattern paper also from the Pink Champagne paper pad. A few gold flowers that were die cut using the Spellbinders Cinch and Go Blossoms die set and a dimensional gold glitter tag were added around the frame. To finish off this card, I added some white crystal gems from Buttons Galore to the center of each flower.

After I finished coloring in the hearts, I folded each heart in half and used a piece of foam tape to hold it together and to also add some dimension. I added adhesive to a 2″ piece of scrap cardstock and then stuck the 6 folded hearts onto the cardstock in a circle. I wanted to add a little more gold to my flower and I cut out 3 more hearts from the gold mirror card (included in the Spellbinders January Card Kit) and then cut the hearts in half and layered them behind the larger flower.

For my second card, I wanted to make the glimmer sentiment the focal point so used gold foil and the “Thanks, You Brighten My Day” glimmers plate and added the sentiment to a piece of white card stock. To help to draw your eye to the sentiment, I matted the sentiment onto some gold mirror card and popped it up using some foam tape. For the card base, I used a pretty pink and green patterned paper with cute little birds from the 6×6 paper pad included in the Spellbinders February Card Kit.

I then added a rainbow and a butterfly die that was also from the Spellbinders February Card kit. To add a little more sparkle and finish off this card, I added some tiny clear gems. This is a really simple card that I think really showcases the glimmers. That glimmers is just so pretty and really gives your cards that little something extra special!!!

I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the Spellbinders February 2022 Glimmers Kit to create some beautiful foiled cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me in next time for more cards created with the awesome kits from Spellbinders.
