Stitched Petal Card Created with the Spellbinders March 2023 Stitching Die Club Kit

Thanks so much for stopping by to see the card project that I created with the new “Nested Layered Stitched Petal” Stitched Dies from Spellbinders March 2023 Clubs. This die set has 4 dies including the background die that is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. There are so many ways to use this die set and I love the dimensional elements that you can add around each circle.

I started with a pink cardstock and created a card base that is 4 1/2″ x 5 3/4″. I used the decorative background die and cut out a card panel out of white cardstock. I adhered the card panel over the pink card base. I think it’s really pretty to see the pink show through the design.

Next, I cut out the remaining stitching elements from white cardstock. For the dimensional stitching elements, I die cut it twice so that I would have enough to go around all the circles and the two sides.

I stitched inside each circle with pink embroidery floss. After stitching all of the circles, I added the dimensional elements to all 4 sides of the circle using gold embroidery thread. I think that this die set is so elegant and the stitching on the card that I created is so beautiful. For my sentiment, I used the “Celebrate” floral chipboard piece from the March Card Kit. To finish off this card, I added tiny clear gems from Honey Bee Stamps.
