“Party Hats & Streamers” Spellbinders Card Kit June 2022

Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Party Hats & Streamers” Card Kit from Spellbinders June 2022 Club. In this post, I am sharing 6 cards that I created using the June card kit. The Spellbinders Card Kits are amazing and come with so many fun supplies including paper, carstock, embellisihments, stamps and dies!

All of these cards were created using the supplies from the June Card Kit (shown below) with the addition of some tiny gemstones and paper scraps from my stash.

I was inspired by the Party Hat die set that was included in this month’s card kit and I created 3 really cute cards using the party hats. I cut out all the pieces using cardstock and patterned paper scraps from my stash and assembled the 3 party hats.

For my first card, I used several patterned papers from the 6×6 paper pad to create the card base. For my sentiment, I used the “Happy Birthday” from the chipboard. I popped up the party hat with some foam tape and added in a Kitty die cut from the ephemera. To finish off this card and add a bit of sparkle, I added some gold sequins and a few clear gems.

For my second Party Hat card, I used a floral patterned paper from my stash to create the card base. Then I added a scalloped rectangle (also from my stash) to the card front. For my sentiment, I used the sentiment dies from the card kit to create the “Make a Wish” and added it on top of the party hat. I popped up the party hat with some foam tape and added the pom pom to the top and some flowers to the bottom. To finish off this card and add a bit of sparkle, I added a clear gem to the center of the pom pom.

For my third Party Hat card, I used a border punch and 4 of the patterned papers from the 6×6 paper pad to create some fun layers. I popped up the party hat with some foam tape and added the pom pom to the top and some flowers to the bottom. I tucked one of the die cuts that looked like a postage stamp behind the party hat and then added another one to the top of the party hat.

The cards shown below were all created with patterned papers from the 6×6 paper pad and the ephemera and chipboard included in the card kit.
