Fun Flower Card Created with the Spellbinders April 2023 Stitching Die Club Kit
Thanks so much for stopping by to see the card project that I created with the new “Stitched Fanfare” Stitched Dies from Spellbinders April 2023 Clubs. This die set creates a really large, decorative sentiment for a card but as soon as I saw it, I immediately thought of making it into flowers. I think that this die is very fun and can be used in many ways and I love the layered, stitched scallop elements.
I started with a floral pink pattern paper from the Spellbinders April Card Kit as the card base. I created a card panel by embossing white cardstock with the April Embossing Folder and then matting it with green cardstock. I think the embossing adds some interesting texture to the card and makes the stitched flowers pop even more.
Next, I cut out the stitching elements from peach and white cardstock. I then stitched the flowers using coordinating embroidery floss. I alternated the peach and white floral pieces and glued them together to create the flowers. Next, I cut out some stems and leaves from green cardstock and attached those to the flowers. To add some additional interest to the card, I used an owl, butterfly and frog die from the April card kit.
For my sentiment, I used the “Love this day” sticker from the March Card Kit. To finish off this card, I added a few tiny clear gems from Honey Bee Stamps.
I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the new Spellbinders Stitched Dies to create beautiful, elegant cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me again in May for more cards created with the awesome club kits from Spellbinders.
