Cards Created with Spellbinders “Spreading Happiness” Card Kit for May 2023
Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Spreading Happiness” Quick & Easy Card Kit from Spellbinders May 2023 Club. In this post, I am sharing 4 cards that I created using the new May card kit. I love creating with the Spellbinders card kits in the past and I’m loving the new kits. The Cardmaking Kit of the Month Club is NOW the the Quick & Easy Card Kit of the Month Club. Spellbinders has adjusted the contents down and reduced the price so that the kits no longer require a die cutting machine. This month’s “Spreading Happiness” Quick & Easy Card Kit includes a 6×6 paper pad, die cut shapes, tons of embellishments, card bases, and more! The new kits no longer include dies and stamps however, there are coordinating dies and stamps available that can be purchased separately.
The Quick and Easy Card Kits from Spellbinders are so easy to create with and make super cute cards.
For my first card, I choose a pattern paper with trees and then added a card panel with white cardstock matted with a pink cardstock. My inspiration for this card started with the trees and garden gate but my favorite thing about this card was the adorable girl die cut. I then layered the trees onto the card panel and popped up one of the trees with some foam tape. I also added foam tape to the girl die and added her to the card. For the sentiment, I choose two puffy stickers and created the sentiment “Smile like No Other” To add a bit more fun to this card, I added a few hearts.
For my second card, I was inspired by the fun shaker, sequin mix that was included in the kit. I used one of the chipboard frames and backed it with the castle die cut to create the shaker. For the card base, I used a fun pattern paper with frogs and another paper with a pattern that looks like lily pads. I created a thin strip from another green pattern paper and added it to create a border between the two pattern papers. I added the shaker to the front of the card and then added some flowers to the top left corner and a fun frog to the bottom left corner. For my sentiment, I used a puffy sticker that says “Oh Happy Day”. How super cute is this fun card????
For my fourth, I used a blue pattern paper for the top of the card and a green pattern paper for the bottom to create the effect of the sky and the grass. I added tiny houses and tree dies to create a fun scene. Next, I added foam tape to a Patisserie Shop die to pop it up a bit and layered it ontop of the row of houses. Fun flowers were added to peak out from behind the houses. A puffy sticker for the sentiment “The Little Moments” completes this card.
For my third and last card, I choose to take strips of different patterned papers and create a fun background. Then, I layered some flowers on to the card and added a cute tea pot. To give even more dimension I added a foam tape to some of the flowers and a double layer of foam tape to a few of the flowers to create different levels. A puffy sticker for the sentiment “Happy Times” completes this card.
I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the Spellbinders May 2023 Card Kit to create some fun and colorful cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me next year in June for more cards created with the awesome card kits from Spellbinders.
