Cards Created with Spellbinders “Happy Skies Ahead” Card Kit for April 2023
Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Happy Skies Ahead” Quick & Easy Card Kit from Spellbinders April 2023 Club. In this post, I am sharing 3 cards that I created using the new April card kit. I love creating with the Spellbinders card kits in the past and I’m loving the new kits. The Cardmaking Kit of the Month Club is NOW the the Quick & Easy Card Kit of the Month Club. Spellbinders has adjusted the contents down and reduced the price so that the kits no longer require a die cutting machine. This month’s “Happy Skies Ahead” Quick & Easy Card Kit includes a 6×6 paper pad, die cut shapes, tons of embellishments, card bases, and more! The new kits no longer include dies and stamps however, there are coordinating dies and stamps available that can be purchased separately.
The die cuts included in this kit were easy to use to create cute spring cards.
For my first card, I choose a floral pattern paper and a pink cardstock for the card base. My inspiration for this card was a circle die with a picnic scene. I then layered a radio, strawberry, drink, and more dies to create a fun scene. I popped up the some of the dies with foam tape to add some dimension. For the sentiment, I choose to use use some of the puffy stickers included in the kit. To add a bit of sparkle to this card, I scattered some of the Honey Bee Stamps tiny clear gems around the card.
For my second card, my inspriation came from the house and the die with the sun, cloud and rainbow. For the card base, I added a colorful patterned paper with words to the card base and then layered a yellow polka dot paper at an angle. Next, I added the house and the sun, cloud and rainbow die. To add some dimension, I popped up some of the dies with foam tape and layered a chipboard “YEAH” and a pink heart and some flowers. For my sentiment, I used a few of the puff stickers. Then, to add a bit of sparkle, I added some of the Honey Bee Stamp tiny clear gems added to the center of the flowers and scattered across this super cute card.
For my third and last card, I choose to take strips of different patterned papers and create a fun background. Then, I layered some flowers on to the card and added a cute tea pot. To give even more dimension I added a foam tape to some of the flowers and a double layer of foam tape to a few of the flowers to create different levels. A puffy sticker for the sentiment and a few of the tiny gems complete this card.
I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the Spellbinders April 2023 Card Kit to create some fun and colorful cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me next year in May for more cards created with the awesome card kits from Spellbinders.
