Christmas Cards created using the Spellbinders October 2022 Club Kits

Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Poinsettia Spray” Glimmers and the “Wonderful Christmas” Stamp & Die Club Kits from Spellbinders September 2022 Clubs. In this post, I am sharing two cards that I created using the new club kits.

For my first card, I thought it would be fun to create a shaker card using one of the chipboard frames from the October “Oh What Fun” Card Kit. I started with an A2 size card base (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″). I added a card panel using a green plaid paper also from the October card kit. I stamped out the floral images with a dark gray ink and then colored the images with copic markers. For the shaker, I used a red and white striped chipboard frame and added some acetate to the back of the frame. I added some foam tape to the back of the frame, filled up the shaker with some pretty white and clear sequins, star sequins and gold seed beads. The background for the shaker frame is a red paper with sprinkles (also from the October card kit). The sentiment “Joy to the World” is a die from the “Oh What Fun” Die Cut Sentiment from the Card Kit extras.

For my second card, I added gold mirror card to an A2 card base. I then added a panel with a gold plaid paper from the October “Oh What Fun” card kit. I then used the matte gold glimmer foil on white cardstock with the large floral glimmer to create the floral arrangement. I cut out the large floral glimmer with the coordinating die and then used copic markers to color in the flowers and leaves. I loved using the copic markers to color in the glimmer image … it was super easy to color and very similar to coloring a stamped image with embossing powder.

I used two of the dies from the “Oh What Fun” Die Cut Sentiment from the Card Kit extras for my sentiment. Then I added some Spellbinders Fashion Gold Dot embellishments to add a bit more sparkle to this elegant Christmas card.
