“Christmas Fun” Cards Created with the Spellbinders “Oh What Fun” Card Kit for October 2022

Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Oh What Fun” Card Kit from Spellbinders October 2022 Club. In this post, I am sharing 3 cards that I created using the October card kit. The Spellbinders Card Kits are amazing and come with so many fun supplies including paper, carstock, embellisihments, stamps and dies! And this month’s kit is perfect to get started creating cards for Christmas!

All of these cards were created using the supplies from the October Card Kit (shown below) with the addition of some Nuvo Crystal drops to add some fun texture.

I love all of the fun and colorful embellishments in this kit …. it’s all so super cute!

For my first card, I started with an A2 size card base and added a floral and a pink, red & green plaid pattern paper from the 6×6 paper pad.

I think the little gingerbread men that are included in this kit are just super cute! So, I decided to create a fun scene on the front of the card with the gingerbread men. I added a die with a gingerbread man in a cup of cocoa and then added a second gingerbread man and popped him with some foam tape.

This is card is oh so fun and I decided to use some of the puffy stickers for my sentiment “Oh What Fun!” To add just a bit of dimension and some fun texture to the card, I scattered some puffy snowflakes across the card and then used some white Nuvo drops to add some falling snow. More white Nuvo drops for the gingerbread men’s eyes and a bit of pink Nuvo drops on the front of the gingerbread men finish off this card.

For my second card, I used a fun tanglged lights pattern papers that had a bit of gold foiling. I added a strip of red polka dot paper across the middle and then bordered it with a fun candy cane stripe in pink, red and white. On the bottom of the card is a green tone-on-tone plaid.

I just had to use more of the gingerbread men … they are just adorable! I added 3 of them across the center of the card. The sentiment comes from the Chipboard that is included in the kit and I think the fun sentiment suits this card.

I finished off this card with some white Nuvo drops for the eyes and pink Nuvo drops for the buttons on the gingerbread men.

For my third card, I layered a pink tone on tone patterned paper over a mistletoe pattern on pink. This card features a snow globe die which has a winter scene with trees and deer and also serves as the sentiment. I added some snow flake puffy stickers and then used the white Nuvo drops to add some falling snow.
