Let’s Celebrate with Cards created with the new Spellbinders Birthday Celebration Collection
Spellbinders is celebrating their 20th birthday with the new Birthday Celebrations Collection. I created six fun and super cute cards for the celebration. Here are all the products that I used from the Birthday Celebrations Collection.
For my first card, I started with embossing some pink cardstock using the Party Spots Embossing Folder. I then used some of the patterned papers from the 6×6 Cheerful Occasion 6×6 Paper Pad and some gold foil mirror carsdstock to create layers to add on top of the embossed card panel. Next, I created a “Party Hat” using the dies from the Spellbinders July Card Kit. And, to finish off this card, I added some gold stars and a sentiment from the Birthday Celebration Embellishment die pack.
For my second card, I layered a strip of blue patterned paper over some gold foil mirror cardstock. I used some colorful cardstock and the Birthday Celebration “Color Block Balloons” dies to create 3 balloons. For my sentiment, I used some gold foil and the “Birthday Unboxing Glimmer” glimmers to create the “Happy Birthday” sentiment. And … for a fun sparkle, I cut out a bow from gold mirror cardstock using the bow die from the March Card Kit and then sprinkled some gold sequins from Spellbinders July Card Kit across the front of the card.
The third card I created features both the “Color Block Balloons” dies and the “Party Decor” dies. The card base was embossed with the “Party Spots” Embossing Folder. I used some blue and yellow cardstock and the Balloon dies to create 2 balloons. I also cut out the banner strings and banners using the Party Decor dies and created a fun layered banners across the front of the card. The sentiment is from the Birthday Celebrations Embellishment dies.
The next three cards were created using the Birthday Celebration Collection Embellishment Bundle. I love all the fun colors of the paper pad and all the embellishments. The puffy Rainbow stickers and the Bisque Opalescent Faceted Sequins are fabulous and I they were so much fun to create with.
I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for using the Spellbinders Birthday Celebration Collection to create some special celebration cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me in July for more cards and projects created with the upcoming Spellbinders Club Kits and new collections.
