“Thank You Floral” SlimLine Card created with new Spellbinders Collections by Becca Feeken

Here is the last card that I created with the elegant Fluted Classics Slimline Dies by Becca Feeken, the Sweet Sayings Notecard Sentiments dies and the Just a Note Sentiments & Tag stamps and die. For this card, I decided to make the card base the same size as the largest die included in the Fluted Classics Slimline die set. This card is 8 1/2″ wide by 3 1/2″ tall.

I used 4 layers on the front of my card. I cut out two card panels using the largest and second largest dies in the Fluted Slimline die set.

The paper that I choose for this card comes from the DCWV 12×12 paper pad. I wanted my sentiment to really stand out, so I choose to layer a piece of vanilla cardstock on top of a piece of gray cardstock to hold my sentiment.

For the sentiment, I cut three of the “Thanks” and three of the “You” from some gold mirror card using dies from the “Sweet Sayings Notecard Sentiments” die set. I trimmed the “s” from the “Thanks” and then glued the 3 die cuts one on top of each other to create a faux chipboard.

This was a very quick and easy card to create but so elegant. After cutting out the panels using the die set, I layered the panels on to the card base and then embellished the front of the card with some dimensional paper flowers. To finish off this card and add a little sparkle, I added some gems from Honey Bee Stamps to the smaller flowers and under the sentiment.

For the inside of my card, I created a greeting using the Spellbinders “Just a Note Sentiments & Tag” Clear Stamp & Die Set from Sweet Serenade Notecards Collection by Becca Feeken. I love the mix of fonts included in the sentiments in this die set and they can easily be combined to create a variety of sayings and I used two of the stamps included to create the greeting on the inside of my card.

I combined “”I Appreciate You” and the tiny “… so much” stamping each of these into onto a piece of vanilla cardstock. I used some gold washi tape to adhere the greeting to the inside of my card.
