Elegant Celebration Cards created using the Spellbinders November 2022 Club Kits

Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Glimmer Edge Stylized Floral” Glimmers and the “Diamond & Arch Motif” Stamp & Die Club Kits from Spellbinders November 2022 Clubs. In this post, I am sharing two cards that I created using the new club kits.

For my first card, I used satin gold glimmer foil on white cardstock and the large glimmer plate included in the kit which had all of floral elements including the sentiment. I then cut out the sentiment and floral pieces using the coordinating die. I love that this glimmer is so easy to use and comes on one glimmer plate. And, it’s so awesome to just run the coordinating die once to get most of the pieces that I used on this card. The first time I used the glimmer and coordinating die, the glimmer foil did not get pressed evenly over the images, so I redid it and the second time, it came out perfectly.

I wanted some contrast between the card base and my flowers and choose a chocolate brown cardstock to use as my card base. I then created a floral arrangement on the front of the card and popped up some of the flowers and leaves with foam tape. I added the sentiment to the bottom of the card and then to finish off the card and add a bit more sparkle, I scattered some gold sequins around the floral bouquet. I thought this card turned out so pretty and is very elegant.

For my second card, I thought that I would try embossing on gold mirror cardstock. It’s not something that I’ve done before but I thought if it worked, it would really suit this stamp set. I stamped out the both of the floral images with VersaMark ink and then embossed them using a white embossing powder. I thought the gold with the white embossing really suited the florals in the stamp set which are very elegant. I die cut the embossed florals using the coordinating dies.

I thought adding some texture to the background of the card using an embossing folder would give the background something special but would still allow the embossed floral die cuts to stand out. I used the 3-D embossing folder from the November Embossing Kit Club and embossed a 4 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ white cardstock panel. I then added the floral die cuts over the front of the card, popping some of them up with foam tape. I also fussy cut one of the flowers and popped it up using foam tape. For my sentiment, I used the circle die from the Basic die set and cut a circle from some chocolate brown cardstock and then used the glimmer sentiment “Celebrating You Today”. To finish off this card, I added some Fun Stamper’s Journey gold embellishments.

I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the Spellbinders Stamp and Dies and the Spellbinders Glimmers to create beautiful, elegant cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me in December for more cards created with the awesome club kits from Spellbinders.
