"Scrap-A-Thon 3" Day 10 – Pockets Scrapbook Layout

It’s Day 10 of the Scrap-A-Thon 3 with Nicole Jones 911 and for this day we needed to create pockets on our scrapbook layout. I have never created a layout with pockets and this was a really fun process. It’s a great way to create a scrapbook page that you can store your memorabilia. In Nicole’s video, she created a scrapbook page with pockets for her cruise. I totally scrap-lifted her layout and her idea to store things that I got on my recent cruise.

I used cardstock from the Recollections paper pad for the background and the pockets. I also spent quite a lot of time fussy cutting all of the cut-a-parts from the paperpad. I love fussy cutting where you can take a single piece of paper and make all kinds of things to embellish your scrapbook page.

I went on the Royal Caribbean Cruise in January with my Mom, sister and two good friends (Tina and Gary). We had an awesome time and I really want to do a good job of documenting our trip. For the pictures, I found some stock images of the “Vision of the Seas” ship and the route that our cruise took.

This scrapbook page is super busy … but I don’t care because whenever I look at it, it makes me happy!!!! So, much bling, gold washi and gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine.
Ten layouts done in 22 days and only 9 Days to go!!!! I feel like I’m getting further and further behind, but I do have 6 pages in the works, so I think I’ll feel better once I get those done. Happy Scrapping!!!
