LOAD 5-19 Day 6 – Sunset at the Dog Park

For LOAD 519 Day 6, the LOAD prompt was to scrapbook a picture at sunset.  I went through my pictures and found that I didn’t really have many photos at sunset but I did find these pictures of my friend Candy and my dogs at the dog park right at sunset.
For this layout, I used paper from two paper pads … the Recollections Sunset Breeze and DCWV Die Cut Shapes.

I wanted to focus on my title, so I choose the multi-color alpha die cuts from the DCWV paper.  For my background, I used a page from the Sunset Breeze paper pad.  It was the perfect paper collection to use for this layout.  I also used some pages from Sunset Breeze to mat my photos.

I tore the paper at the top and the bottom and then added a piece of striped paper behind the torn areas.  I used a white gel pen around the title and some faux stitching to the top, bottom and to one of the tags.  A few staples, enamel dots and hearts and this layout is finished.
Here’s a full picture of my layout for LOAD 519 Day 6.  The picture used in this layout are taken at the Sugar Land, Texas Dog Park.  Pictures are my two yorkies (Bella and LilyBelle) and my friend Candy and her dog Latte.
