Cards Created with Spellbinders “Indoor Garden” Card Kit for January 2023

Thanks so much for stopping by to see the cards that I created with the new “Indoor Garden” Quick & Easy Card Kit from Spellbinders January 2023 Club. In this post, I am sharing 3 cards that I created using the new January card kit. I love creating with the Spellbinders card kits in the past and I’m loving the new kits. The Cardmaking Kit of the Month Club is NOW the the Quick & Easy Card Kit of the Month Club. Spellbinders has adjusted the contents down and reduced the price so that the kits no longer require a die cutting machine. This month’s “Indoor Garden” Quick & Easy Card Kit includes a 6×6 paper pad, die cut shapes, tons of embellishments, card bases, and more! The new kits no longer include dies and stamps however, there are coordinating dies and stamps available that can be purchased separately.

The die cuts included in this kit were easy to use to create fun card scenes and the embellishments were all so cute.

Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month

My inspiration for all 3 cards started with the 6×6 pattern papers in the kit. All of the papers coordinated so well together, and for my first card, I choose to use a yellow plaid and pink paper with yellow suns for this card. I thought that these two papers would be the perfect background for this fun rainbow & sun inspired scene. I used the large gold sun, a rainbow and a smaller mulit color sun as the main elements and then added three small yellow flowers. For the sentiment, I choose two of the puffy stickers that were included in the kit. And, to add a bit of sparkle to this fun & bright card, I placed a pink gem to the center of each flower. The gems are a pretty pink with gold flakes and so pretty.

For my second card, I choose a black & pink pattern paper and a fun paper with words on a pink background. I love the contrast that these two papers created for the background. I choose a large heart with a black & white chevron pattern. I fun teapot and teacup were added to one side and then two smaller hearts to the right side of the card. I used one of the chipboard stickers for my sentimnent and then added 3 of the gems in blue, green and pink.

For my third and last card, I wanted to create a scene with the table, chair and one of the potted plants. I started with those two die cuts and then selected two patterned papers that I thought would make a good background. How fun are these furniture and plant die cuts? I added a fun hanging sign to the top of the card and then added two of the puffy stickers for my sentiment. A few of the gems added just a bit of sparkle to this fun card!

I hope I’ve given you some inspiration for how you can use the Spellbinders January 2023 Card Kit to create some fun plant inspired cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you join me next year in February for more cards created with the awesome card kits from Spellbinders.
